15.09.10 - LADIES DAY SUCCESS FOR ADM
In an earlier ‘Latest News’ item we announced our appointment by Go Racing In Yorkshire to promote the Ladies Day meetings at the nine courses around the county and in particular the race to find the ‘Best Dressed Lady Race Goer In Yorkshire 2010.’
Last Thursday during the magnificent St Leger Festival at Doncaster the culmination of this effort came to a conclusion as Liz Akroyd from Hull picked up the coveted title.
Never one to miss out on a photo opportunity or the chance to put his arm around an attractive lady, Tony Moss was in attendance to oversee proceedings.
‘It’s a tough job, but it had to be done. The ladies needed looking after and I reluctantly agreed. Liz looked fantastic and was only too pleased to have her picture taken with me. Well, who wouldn’t,’ said a rather smug Tony Moss.
On a serious note significant coverage was achieved throughout the summer in print, broadcast and on-line media, including a double page spread feature in the Yorkshire Post’s Life & Style supplement on the eve of the Final.
Tony Moss said: ‘Our aim was to take racing away from its traditional editorial environment and broaden its appeal to other potential target markets. Looking at the attendance figures and the profile of race goers it seems we have more than achieved this.’ |
